Solar Energy is not just good for the planet, it is fast becoming one of the cheapest sources of energy available and is creating high quality well-paying jobs.
According to recent analysis from the solar foundation[1], there are now over 250k solar workers in the United States now employing twice as many people as the coal industry. In spite of the recent ITC tariffs, solar is expected to pass the 100GW of new installed capacity this year for the first time globally. In fact here in the USA there are many markets where solar energy is the cheapest source of energy with PPA’s in the $30 to $50 per MWh range.
